Instructions
FRENCH ONION SOUPINGREDIENTS
1 packet Homemade Gourmet® French Onion Soup Mix
4 tablespoons butter

large onion, thinly sliced
½ of a 16-ounce loaf of French bread, cut into 6 thick slices 4 cups water
6 slices provolone cheese
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to broil. Place bread on a baking sheet and put under broiler. Loast one side, turn, place a slice of cheese on top and toast until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and set aside.
2. In a large soup pot, melt butter over medium-high heat and sauté onion until translucent. Add soup mix and water, and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Turn off heat.
3. Divide soup into 6 bowls and distribute onions evenly.
4. Place toasted cheese bread on top of each bow ot soup, and serve immediately.
SERVES 6
EASY BLEE SKILLET DINNER
INGREDIENTS
1 packet Homemade Gourmet® French Onion Soup Mix
1 pound ground beef OR boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces
1 (10.75-ounce) can cream ot mushroom soup
2 cups water cup instant rice
DIRECTIONS
1. In a large skillet, brown ground beet (or chicken) until no longer pink.
2. Add remaining ingredients, stir and bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover and let cook for about 5 minutes (or until rice is tender).
4. Turn off heat and let sit, covered for another 5 minutes. Serve warm with a side salad.

FRENCH ONION DIP
INGREDIENTS
1 packet Homemade Gourmet® French Onion Soup Mix
16 ounces sour cream (or more to taste)
DIRECTIONS
1. Combine ingredients and stir until well blended.
2. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve with chips, crackers or vegetables. Can store in airtight container for up to one week.
