Homemade Gourmet® Meyer Lemon Pound Cake with Glaze

½ cup milk
GLAZE INGREDIENTS:
1-2 tablespoons water
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray loaf pan with flour based cooking spray.
2. in large bow, beat butter and eggs with electric mixer on low speed for 30
seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Increase mixer speed to high and beat for 2 minutes, scraping bowl constantly.
3. Reduce mixer speed to low and gradually add pound cake mix in thirds alternately with milk and beat just until smooth after each addition. Transfer batter to prepared pan and smooth the top of the batter then tap pan on work surface to release air bubbles.
4. Bake 50 to 55 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on rack for 10 minutes before removing to serving plate.
In a small bowl, combine glaze mix with 1 tablespoon water and mix until smooth.
If needed, add 2nd tablespoon to reach desired consistency. Drizzle glaze over pound cake.
